Gobi paratha










Gobi used to be a winter vegetable but these days it is available around the year. Of the many many dishes you can make with this amazing vegetable! The Gobi Paratha is my favourite! again there are many types you could make it. This time you make it my way and tell me how you like it. 







This recipe is special for more than one reason, my blog is in its nervous nineties and i have for the first time tried to make a simple video to how to make the Gobi paratha. I am so thrilled to add a video feature i cannot tell you guys. 



  
What do you need to make the Gobi Paratha: 
  • Cauliflower / Gobi
  • Salt
  • Green Chillies 
  • Cumin seeds 
  • Wheat flour 
  • cumin Powder 
  • Coriander Powder 
  • Garam Masala
  • Fresh Coriander 
  • Chilli powder 

How to make the Gobi Paratha? 

Step 1: Chop the Gobi and grate it together with the coriander and green chillies. Add the dry spices as well, Salt, red chilli powder, Coriander powder, Cumin Powder. Keep aside, this mixture should be dry and powdery. 




Step 2: Mix the dough like would for normal roti and let it rest for 20 minutes. 

Step 3: Make small and equal parts of the dough and start making roundels. Add generous amounts of the mixture in the middle of the roundel and carefully fold it and roll it again. 




Sep 4: Roast it  on both sides with good amounts of ghee. serve it with some plain curd and garlic chutney.
